Body Activation By TRPT
Daymond, a retired Dallas Police Officer (26 years) has been training athletes for 25 + years in the DF/W area. Daymond moved to the North Texas area after moving from Topeka Kansas where he played High School and College Basketball. He also participated in football and track as a High School athlete before becoming a Dallas Police Officer. In the 25+ years Daymond and Raw Power Sports have seen several of his clients go on to play college and professional sports. Several of Raw Power athletes have come back to the DF/W area as coaches and trainers. Daymonds main focus is to find training methods that are cutting edge, help every athlete to achieve their own personal goals, make every client feel like family, and gain the trust and love of his clients on a personal level.
Daymond is certified in RPR ( Reflective Performance Reset ) and a student of Square 1. Both practices are neuro based and designed to correct the nervous system, remove Neuro compensations in the body, and allow the muscles to work correctly as they should. This service puts Daymond as well as TRPT on a level unmatched by any other program.
I am the Co-Owner of Raw Power Sports (RPS) and Body Activation by TRPT (BAbyTRPT). I am a devoted, educator, talented athlete, phenomenal coach, and remarkable trainer, and is the true embodiment of hard work and perseverance. I am also a loving father to my beautiful daughter.
I was blessed to be born into an athletic family but had to work a little harder to develop my skill-set and perfect my craft. I was a good athlete and possessed three major characteristics that further contributed to my success. I was coachable, desired to be the best, and was willing to outwork everyone to meet his goals. In 2010, after many hours of conditioning, workouts, and practices, the University of Texas at El Paso awarded me a full athletic scholarship.
As a UTEP Miner, I was a contributor on the field and a force in the classroom. For two and a half years, I started at wide receiver and special teams, and advanced to my first bowl game as a true freshman on special teams! However, I did not neglect my academics. In 2013, I was appointed to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. The following year I earned a BA in Organizational and Corporate Communications with a minor in Business.
Even though I coached and trained athletes while still in college, after graduation, I opted for a career in education. I’ve been an educator for 6+ years. However, I still had a passion for sports. I take pride in encouraging and pushing individuals to reach their potential. I also find it rewarding to share my knowledge for the improvement of the game and/or daily lives of others.
To date, working alongside my father and brother, I have coached numerous clients/athletes of all ages (5+), and varying skill levels (novice-professional). I’ve also worked with athletic programs at several schools in Mesquite ISD, as well as players from surrounding areas.
I see my training style as effective because I give my clients the tools and motivation they need to succeed. Whether it involves the basics (speed, agility, explosion, etc.), specific position drills and movements, or sport-specific techniques, I push them to work hard. Additionally, I make sure to hold my clients accountable. I often tell them, “You are in control of your life, so you determine the growth, change, and outcome of your future!” They know their choices, actions, and work ethics will determine any growth or change regarding better athletic performances and fitness futures.
I currently hold Level 1 & 2 certifications through RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset). I work closely with my father, Daymond, as an intricate part of Raw Power Sports and Body Activation by TRPT. I’m very active on social media and can be found using the hashtag #TRPT or @YoungDP on IG.
QB Specialists/Smith
After receiving 2010 Honorable Mention QB while at North Mesquite High School, Xavier received a scholarship to Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Named Team Captain as a freshman & continued captain duties throughout his college career. After 3 years of QB play, Xavier transitioned to the TE position where he led the team TE in YAC, Receptions & TD. In 2015, Xavier received his BS in Occupational Safety & Health.
After graduating college, Xavier knew he couldn’t stay too far removed from the game so he began training with TRPT. Majority of his work has been with QB’s, but does speed & explosion as well. Xavier has trained over 50 QB’s from ages 4 & up. While training QB’s the main focus is building from the ground up. TRPT Sports Dentist
There is power in a healthy smile; Dr. Maria Jackson’s mission is to empower anyone who seeks her services. She is modernizing athletic dental care with her new practice, Empower Dental, and will impact how the residents of Forney, TX and the surrounding cities view oral care as well.
Dr. Jackson, a Kansas City metropolitan native, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas. Her passion for dentistry led her to pursue a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.
She continued her training at Truman Medical Center-General Practice Residency in Kansas City, where she expanded her knowledge of comprehensive treatment planning. She delved into complex restorative cases that required various types of dentistry—special needs, operating room, sedation, and cosmetic, just to name a few.
Dr. Jackson enjoyed all areas of dentistry but found her niche in sports dentistry. As a former member of the KU Women’s Golf Team, she wanted to couple her love of sports with her passion for dentistry.
Shortly after her residency, Dr. Jackson relocated to Texas to work for a dental office in the DFW area. For several years, she gained invaluable experience and skills in working with patients of all ages, understanding their needs and wants, and creating healthy smiles.
In keeping with her quest to stay up to date on the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry, she earned her Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This distinction requires hundreds of continuing education hours and hands-on work in the dental field. Only about 6% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. Dr. Jackson is currently working towards her Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), which would put her amongst the top 2% of dentists in the U.S. and Canada to have this honor!
Dr. Jackson is an accredited member of several organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of Sports Dentistry. She diligently researches and attends various continuing education courses, including custom mouthguard fabrication, prevention methods, and sports trauma. Keeping up with dental technology and current standards of care are paramount, as she strongly values providing her patients with the best treatment options available.
